Perfect location. Otherwise high-priced good hotel
The air conditioner could not be turned off or it was broken (at 30 degrees it is not very good). You can hear the toilet and shower of a neighbour (not very good at night and in the morning)

I enjoyed the assessability of restaurants and site seeing, I enjoyed the water all around the facility.
I did not like the confusion when I arrived, the attendant could not find my reservations made by this company, they held me at the counter for more than 30 minutes. The cost was never shared, I had to give them 3 credit cards to try to verify my booking even after given them the copy of my confirmation. The attendant was nice and in spite of the mix up he made me feel comfortable. This should not happen and I was very upset intially, also the valet retrieved my car without verifying it was me. All I told him was my room number, an id should have been asked for in my opinion.

Very nice hotel, beautifully appointed.
Although the valet parking service was nice and the valets were accomodating, it was expensive as was the "park yourself" option. The buffet breakfast was terribly expensive and sub-par food. Most disappointing.

Great location. Restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Parking fee in the multi-storey car park approx. 13 USD.

I had a fantastic time last weekend, especially with the hotel's prime spot just a few steps from the vibrant Waterside District and close to the beautiful Armed Forces Memorial, perfect for a relaxing stroll through the city.

We had a room on the 9th floor facing the harbor. It was very nice. For a hotel in a downtown environment it was surprisingly quiet.
For breakfast we elected the buffet. The price was reasonable and the food reflected the price. Overall for a buffet, it was on the low end of the scale.

Convenient location with nice surroundings, near restaurants and nightlife
Breakfast choices seemed limited compared to other Sheraton locations

Great staff, but pricey snacks
Our room was super accessible and met all our needs. The staff was really attentive, especially MiMi and Ashley in the restaurant-they were awesome! The only thing was the snacks in the lobby were way too overpriced. I could've got a whole meal for what I spent on just three snacks.

The rooms top-notch and newly remodelled with double queen beds and soundproofing and shower. Location really close to other attractions and the Elizabeth River ferry and the Elizabeth River ferry.

The only thing that I did not like about my stay was the fact that self parking costs $12 per day. The hotel itself didn't have a parking lot. Everyone has to use the pay as you go parking next door to the hotel.

The location is excellent with great views of the harbor. My room with a balcony was definitely worth the upgrade. The front desk staff were amazing and really patient despite being busy. They had a fully equipped fitness center that helped me recharge after a long day.
strongly recommend

Staffs participation in my comfort. Food was excellent. But the restaurant staff didn't quite have their act together. The waiters and waitress's were very nice. But is was as if no one had direction. I waited 30 minutes for two poached eggs? It's ashamed because the next evening at the bar, people who were staying at the Hotel said they would not eat there again. It's ashame things in the restaurant are so confusing. The mornings I had breakfast and dinner there were only two couples there. Such a beautiful view. But a very confusing experience. Just glad I was patient. The waitress was delightful and said the problem was in the kitchen. Evidently there are two kitchens and no one knows which kitchen gets the order. Otherwise my experience was great. Especially all the wonderful employees. Thanks,Annette Speigel

The beds were extremely comfortable. Hotel staff was friendly.
The telephone didn't work. They tried to fix it but it still didn't work, which meant I had to use my personal cellphone to order food and call the front staff. The restaurant's food wasnt good. I couldn't finish it. The valet service upon arrival was efficient, however, once I left and returned, I stood by my car waiting for someone to get my keys and take my car. Once he did come over and get my keys, he wasn't as pleasant as the other gentleman. Ice machine and soda machine didn't work on 7th floor. Had to go to different floor to get ice and drinks.

The waterfront view from the room was a highlight. The front desk staff, particularly Georgette, excelled in customer service, promptly addressing our initial room issue and going above and beyond with a complimentary dinner offer. Parking options were somewhat limited with a fee, and access to the hotel could be more straightforward given the layout of nearby streets. The bar's high prices were another downside during an otherwise pleasant visit.
